Life before Stemedix was a long journey of fighting rheumatoid arthritis and that long journey was about 20 years of um further and further into debilitation joint degeneration a lot of pain fatigue this joint swelling anyone with an autoimmune disease probably pretty familiar with how it progresses and takes over your life i was having a great amount of difficulty getting up in the morning because i would the mornings are the worst for autoimmune diseases everyone that hasn’t knows that so getting up in the morning very slow very painful hours and hours of severe pain getting to the couch that was square one and that’s where it stayed the passion of my life is being an artist i love painting i’ve been painting and drawing since i was probably like five or six years old and i’ve always enjoyed painting and doing shows exhibiting my artwork taking commissions attending art institutes and that’s what i’ve been doing but when the arthritis got worse and worse i found i had to start limiting that because it does take a lot of energy to stand there at an easel and paint for hours and hours and i couldn’t stand so then i was sitting at the easel and then pretty soon it was just too tiring and too painful to do any of it so that my art world the door was closing the love of my life you know i’ve seen a lot of changes all the pain that she’s always been in and i’m one of those people that feels pain from other people why i don’t know i was not able to do the housework not able to go to the grocery store and carry the shopping bags even driving very very hard to drive because everything hands wrists elbows shoulders everything is in so much pain that you don’t really want to do that you know so i just my world got smaller and smaller i wasn’t going out i wasn’t going shopping it was too painful i was on the major biologic drugs the infusions i was on multiple painkillers i was on major anti-inflammatories the oral ones all of those have horrible side effects all of it is very very unhealthy obviously and but i kept trying everything plus trying non-pharmaceutical things like diet changes chiropractic and the list goes on and on and on physical therapy i have tried it all and just continued to get worse i found Stemedix by doing research on the internet and they had a number you can call to speak with someone and i was very impressed at the level of procedure done the third day they call you say are you okay i say yes and they say go home easy i saw some results immediately with the pain and swelling subsiding now i was still i mean in pretty rough shape you know for several weeks after that but then i started to see improvements when she says i have a level 8 pain or a level six pain she gauges it like that what she’s not putting into into that equation is the fact that her level pain now is down to none almost or a two or three but there’s no pain pills she’s off all that stuff and that’s the amazing thing because so many side effects come with the other medication and now with the Stemedix i have such a reduction in my pain and my mobility is much better that i’m painting all the time again now i’m very involved in the miniature art world i do shows and exhibitions i just demonstrated at the lipa ratner museum of art for five days that is something i never could have attempted when i was in the the throes of the arthritis she has a god-given talent to paint as you can see on some of the paint work that she does and that was slowing way down and now just over the last i don’t know since schematics she’s she’s tripled her amount of works that she’s done just for the fact that she feels better and of course when you’re around somebody that feels better it makes you feel better as well so it’s kind of increase the i would say maybe the happiness that we feel i am so excited that that door isn’t closed to me and it just it’s very gratifying you know it just keeps getting better you know we we do a lot of things and sometimes people go wow how do you do this and do that we go out saying we we met singing you know way back when uh you know and uh and we just enjoy that monday night is our karaoke night you know and but we we sing and enjoy each other and it’s just so much more enjoyable when the other half isn’t in as much pain but there’s a lot a lot of differences she’s you know she’s always wanting to get back out there on that beach i swim and she can walk and watch me swim you if you care about the person that that you’re married to um don’t wait you know do it because you know you don’t know what life has you don’t know what life holds for each of you so every happy moment that you can spend together and and of course pain-free moments going to make a big big difference and i think it just increases the happiness you know it’s just don’t wait you know every moment is so precious everyone that i have met associated with Stemedix has been tremendous they have been
